Hi, I'm Eduardo
Sport scientist by trade, I grew up training in Chinese martial arts. After years of working in commercial gyms as a personal trainer, my interest shifted towards Crossfit, MovNat and Parkour. Then, I crossed paths with the FM practice.
My coaching experience with Eduardo is one that stands out above many other coaching experiences I’ve had.
He is a story teller and broadens the horizon for how we think about what we are doing in such a way that opens you to so much more. Without any judgement, rigidity and stiffness to how things “should” be.
I couldn’t recommend Eduardo any more highly. I am grateful for having shared a coaching process with him and I believe this will be greatly beneficial for anyone who wants to have a joyful, deeply nourishing approach to a practice that supports their life.

Movement Compass
Sensing
Refining sense perception deepens the connection within oneself and the external world. 'Sensing' allows us to tune in, test and taste who we are, what we do and how we do it.
Becoming more aware in movement allowa us to better understand how we communicate with ourselves, others and the environment.
Re-Moving
Attuning to oneself allows us to identify disturbances and restrictions that can be addressed. Moving propositions offer opportunities to experience 'on our skin' strategies to re-move interference and restore movement capability.
Let's create a more dynamic and flexible network of joints, a unity capable of moving in a variety of ways.
Exploring
Try. Wander. Play. Err outside of the path that someone else has already walked. Improvise, let yourself surprise yourself. Not always, but dare, you can.
Explore and express yourselves in a safe and judgment free environment. Step into the unkwnon to allow rich learning experiences to emerge.
Interacting
Every action communicates something about us. How do we act when meeting an external demand? How do we lead? How do we follow?
Observe how you move with others and experiment how else you could do it, what other roles you can play. Movement interactions may be the closest experience to the complexity that life presents.
Creating
The word 'create' originates from the root meaning 'to grow', to grow is to change. Change is inevitable yet we can be passive or engage in the process, be more aware, explore directions, playfully interact and enjoy the progress.
Become more available to yourself and the outer environments, embrace challenges that stimulate your physical and cognitive capacities, and enjoy the ripple effects in your life. Create Change In Movement.
How can we navigate our movement demand in a sustainable and enjoyable way?
bounce like a cat move with ease feel more energy
I feel like I'm much more flexible mentally and physically. I also feel stronger. I am no longer afraid of challenges or worrying that I cannot keep up with the group. Part of that is my growth and confidence which you have given me during 1-1 training as well as the individuals and nature of the group and your group leadership. I think your work has helped me a lot with dancing too and the whole way I think about exercise in general.

Movement experience
Human movement has been the fulcrum of my career for over 20 years. I started in Italy as a personal trainer and fitness instructor. At that time, I was also coaching a basketball team for an inclusive project where a blend of players with and without intellectual disabilities played together.
Since I moved to Australia, I have expanded my experience in human movement working in a variety of settings. I offered remedial massage therapy alongside chiropractors and physiotherapists. I have coached Crossfit and MovNat, run mobility and movement workshops and kept offering my service as personal trainer.
In 2017 I began sharing the Fighting Monkey practice running regular classes and "Inspire by FM" workshops in South Australia, Victoria and Queensland. Playfulness and creativity in relation to communication and athletic development have become of great interest to me. It is through cultivating this interest that I have decided to share, through physical practices, how to embrace with confidence the ever changing nature of human movement, life, performance and career.
Nowadays I spend time learning how to move on a wrestling mat, a dance floor and a boxing ring. I strive for broadening my understanding of human movement and, grateful for all the teachers I encountered in the past, I keep on researching through courses and mentors.
I am based in Adelaide, from which I regularly share my experience in human movement through playful and creative training.
Yours In Movement,
Eduardo
